11 May Our favourite new development – Fulham’s riverside Bishops Row development, from Octagon
We love this new row of homes in up-market Fulham from luxury developer Octagon, but if you’re interested, you’ll need to move fast because four of the nine plots have already been sold and at the writing of this article two are yet to be released, which means just Plots 1, 7 and 8 are available.
For over 40 years, Octagon has wowed us with their stunning new home creations across London and the southeast, finding the most incredible of locations and building desirable properties, often substantial mansions with grounds to die for.
Bishops Row is a little different, but then where it’s located has governed that to some extent. This row of nine townhouses is set in the Bishops Park conservation area overlooking the River Thames – just a short wander from the picturesque Fulham Palace, riverside walks and Fulham’s bars, boutiques and incredible restaurants.
The highlights of these four and five-bed homes, according to their specs are four reception rooms, a TV room/cinema room, a gym, a wine room and a walled west-facing garden (a rarity in this part of London). Ranging from 4,375 to 6,150 sq. ft, these are substantial properties, each is arranged over five floors, fitted out with the very best in timber flooring, quartz worktops, limestone fireplace, marble entrance, enhanced Wi-Fi and air conditioning. And the private roof terraces have views over the River Thames and the London skyline – perfect for relaxing on with a glass of something smooth and alcoholic on a summer’s evening.
With prices ranging from £3.3m to £4.5m for the three that are available, this would be the perfect move for a family that needs to be close to work, desires the lifestyle and excellent schooling available in this central London location, and values the walks, parks and views that living right next to the river offers.
Any of the properties at Bishops Row will no doubt be finished to an incredible standard, but once you’ve moved in you may well wish to place your own personal stamp on the property, to make it your home – redecorating the kids’ rooms in their favourite colour, changing around any of the built-in units that don’t suit your lifestyle and so on. If you’re holding back on moving because you feel the new place will be a little soulless, a little too show-homey, not quite you-enough, then give us a call. We’ve been helping families to add a little personality to their homes for decades and we can do the same for you.
